| A basic training package for all staff working in Urgent Care Centres including nursing, medical and support staff. It includes infection prevention (including PPE), considerations for the UCC setting, care of the clinical environment, risks and wellbeing. | |
| Module 2 – COVID-19: Assessment and management of the stable patient in the UCC setting | Designed for all nurses and medical staff working in Urgent Care Centres. This module focuses on how to manage stable COVID-19 patients including respiratory A&P, triage, management and disposition & transfer. |
| Module 3 – COVID-19: Assessment and management of the unstable patient in the UCC setting | This module focuses on assessment and management of the unstable patient; including advanced respiratory management. We are aware that not all UCCs will have the capability to undertake advanced airway management so this module may be advanced for come settings. |
| Module 4 – COVID-19 in 2021 | This module is designed to complement the existing RUCN-CDP COVID-19 online training modules and contains updated information on what we now know about COVID-19 including data, variants, vaccines, management and Long COVID. |
