Alfred Health Emergency
Student Bursary Scheme

Alfred Emergency Education offers a student bursary scheme to financially support participants from low and lower-middle income countries (LMIC).

The bursaries provide financial assistance to students from developing countries which enable them to participate in some of our education programs if they are unable to fund or gain sponsorship for their studies locally.

The bursaries provide:

  • Enrolment fee reduction of up to 50%
  • All required online learning materials

Eligibility:

To be eligible to apply for a bursary, applicants must be an emergency care clinician (nurse or doctor) from a low or lower-middle income country, as defined by the World Bank.

Applications:

A strict selection process applies. The number and value of bursaries per annum is set in advance and has an annual cap.

Awarding of bursaries is based on available funding, student-mix, and a transparent, competitive selection process utilising the information provided on the application form.  The awards are made entirely at the discretion of the Alfred Emergency Education Management team.
