The Airway Course

This immersive one-day cadaveric workshop provides attendees with invaluable hands-on practical experience, focusing specifically on the technical skills of airway management.

The course is designed and delivered by the team that developed the acclaimed Procedures Course and will be taught on specially prepared donor cadavers.

The procedures covered include:
– Direct & Videolaryngoscopy
– Hyperangulated laryngoscopy
– Supraglottic Airways
– Nasendoscopy & fibreoptic intubation
– Retrograde intubation
– Surgical airway

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Critical care physicians and advanced trainees (Emergency, Trauma, Intensive Care).

REGISTRATION FEES:
Consultant/CMO: AUD $2450.00 (excluding GST)
Registrar: AUD $1950.00 (excluding GST)
Registration fees include morning tea and lunch.

Morning Session – Laryngoscopy

0900-1000          Success Mindset
1000-1100          Direct & Videolaryngoscopy
1100-1115          Coffee
1115-1200          Hyperangulated laryngoscopy
1200-1230          Lunch

Afternoon Session – Advanced techniques

1230-1300          Supraglottic Airways
1300-1400          Nasendoscopy & fibreoptic intubation
1400-1430          Failed intubation & coffee
1430-1500          Retrograde intubation
1500-1600          Surgical airway
1600-1615          Summary, questions, and feedback

Registration fees include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

 

REFUND POLICY

Substitution: If, after booking an event you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place. Please advise substitutions via email so a correct name tag will be available at the registration desk. CPD hours will be allocated to the substitute delegate.

Refunds: Cancellation more than 30 days before the event: 70% refund Cancellation less than 30 days: no refund Cancellation must be in writing
