Mr Anthony Draper

Anthony is the senior Epidemiologist at the Northern Territory Centre for Disease Control and leads the epidemiology and surveillance aspects of Menzies School of Health Research’s projects in Timor-Leste, most notably, the STRONG TL Project (Surveillance, Training, Research Opportunities and National Guidelines for Timor-Leste).

Anthony is an Honorary Fellow at the Menzies School of Health Research and at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University. Anthony has deployed with AUSMAT to health emergencies in Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Timor-Leste and previously worked as a medical scientist in Queensland, the Northern Territory, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste where is also a citizen.
