Dr David McCreary
Dr David McCreary is an Emergency Physician at the Alfred Hospital and an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University. He completed his undergraduate training in the UK at the University of Liverpool and completed his MSc in Trauma Science from Queen Mary’s University, London.
David trained in Emergency Medicine in a variety of centres in UK and Australia and is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
David has a long-standing passion for medical education and recently completed a position as Education Fellow at the Alfred. He is one of the founding members of the RCEMLearning FOAMed education platform and is a member of the RCEMLearning editorial board (FOAMed editor). He produces a monthly podcast segment covering evidence-based medicine entitled “New in EM” for the RCEMLearning Podcast and is the project lead for FOAMed content produced for the Alfred Emergency Department’s education website, emergencyeducuation.org.au.
